Artist & fashion designer @jordangogos spent some weeks in residence at Ace Hotel Sydney creating Ace Accordions – a body of work shaped between his studio at the Powerhouse Museum and the rooms of Ace.

Transforming remnants into layered worlds of colour, texture and memory, the works were stitched, folded, drawn and assembled on-site throughout the residency.

Ace Accordions is now on display in Good Chemistry from May through July. Slide through and embrace the space.

J Davies: Photography Exhibition in Good Chemistry at Good Chemistry

Ace Hotel Sydney in partnership with UNSW Galleries. On exhibit from February til end of April. J Davies examines intimacy, identity and neurodiversity through a deeply personal lens, and is known for an expansive photographic archive documenting queer culture and community in Naarm/Melbourne. J’s practice opens a candid window into moments of unapologetic queerness, foregrounding relationships, bodies and lived experience.
