SLOW SERIES : Sashiko Workshop with JunAle at
As part of Ace Hotel Kyoto’s SLOW SERIES, we are hosting a Sashiko workshop with artist JunAle. Sashiko is a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique used to repair and reinforce fabric, passed down through generations as a way to extend the life of clothing and textiles. In this workshop, participants will bring clothing, bags, or small textile items and learn basic Sashiko techniques for mending and reinforcement.
