Rico Shinkai

She began her career as a jazz singer in her teens, and later expanded her repertoire to include a wide range of genres such as soul and R&B.

In addition to performing, she has worked as a vocal trainer, while also hosting her own radio program on local FM stations for 14 years (FM Nishi Tokyo and FM Blue Shonan).

Until 2023, she served as a part-time music teacher at Seijo Gakuen High School.

Currently, she is active as a vinyl DJ, playing mainly nu jazz, Afro, and world music at various venues across Tokyo.

１０代の頃からジャズシンガーとして活動。その後SOULやR&Bなど幅広いジャンルを歌う。
その他、ボイストレーナーとして講師を務めながらローカルFMで冠ラジオ番組を14年。(FM西東京・FMブルー湘南)
2023年まで成城学園高等学校にて音楽の非常勤講師として従事する。
現在はVinyl DJとして Nujazz.Afro.World musicを中心に都内各所で活動中。
